Great cars, great trucks... these are great family beaches to drive on!
How fun is that for the kids! I know I get a thrill every time I get to cruise and drive on the beach. It's also a lot less tiring than one of my long walks.
Take your car, truck or motorcycle down to the beach and drive for miles in the sand. Or pull over, hop in the bed of your truck or throw your beach chair in the sand. Kick back and relax while you people watch and catch a tan.
Take anything you want, your cooler, tunes and anything else on our beach gear list. Can't put much more in or on a truck, that's my wife and kids on New Smyrna Beach, load er up.
Do I need 4x4 truck? Simple answer, nope. If you stay on the beaten path, any car, truck or motorcycle will do. If you don't have a 4x4, I wouldn't drive into the soft sand. My Dad learned his lesson the hard way and needed a few people to help push him out.
